In 2014, Shooter and Jane Collins had a dream of creating the ultimate venue to watch sport in Canberra.

The brother and sister had been running the Lighty in Belconnen for 10 years and thought the idea had legs, but knew they had to bring some sporting experience to the mix.

So the pair reached out to Brumbies and Wallabies players Ben Alexander and Scott Fardy to join the team, and 6 months later, they opened The Dock.

Since its opening, The Dock has become the premier destination for watching live sport in Canberra and has won Best Sports Bar seven times and Best Pub once.

The Collins' passion and dedication to their vision has resulted in The Dock becoming a favourite spot for locals and visitors alike, and it's community of patrons helped it bounce back better than ever following the pandemic.
